Kim Welk

Kim is the owner/head coach of Team W Coaching in Highlands Ranch, CO. She is a Level 1 USAT Triathlon Coach, Level 3 USA Cycling Coach, TrainingPeaks Certified Level 2 Coach, ACE Certified Personal Trainer, and Certified Swim Speed Secrets Coach. Kim has also completed the coursework for ePI Certified Triathlon Coach and Metabolic Efficiency Training Specialist.
As a lifelong athlete, Kim believes that health and wellness are achievable for anyone through coaching. What your mind believes, your body achieves!
From children to adults, helping people achieve health and wellness goals while embracing their lifestyle journey is her passion. Kim has helped children and adults prepare for and reach their targeted finishes in running, cycling and triathlon. The support extends beyond the finish line to focus on work-life balance, home-life balance and the ability to see the impact on day to day performance. Kim incorporates a "one day...one step" mentality and follows the same philosophy in her daily life.
Kim’s career, after graduating from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Business, started in Real Estate. She spent many years in the Title Insurance Industry, operating a Transaction Management Company and as a Residential Broker. Kim had the opportunity to coach soccer, running and triathlon while working full time. As her life transitioned back to her athletic passions, her career followed suit and her emphasis shifted to coaching at both the career and athletic level.
Kim’s husband shares her passion for endurance in the ultra running and biking community. Their three teenaged daughters keep them running too!
